The Vision: Designing a Statement: White, Matte Black, and Gold Accents
The client’s vision for this kitchen revolved around a bold yet elegant aesthetic. The core design challenge was to meticulously combine contrasting elements – the pristine purity of white with the dramatic depth of matte black – ensuring a cohesive and sophisticated result.
This involved sourcing and applying specific, high-end finishes: ICA Italian OP400 white paint paired with a custom matte black finish, both executed to perfection at the same sheen level.

Doors & Finish
The cabinetry features a luxurious combination: our crisp white finish, using premium ICA Italian OP400 paint, flawlessly integrated with a custom matte black finish applied at the same sheen. This striking contrast is softened and elevated by elegant gold handles, adding a touch of understated luxury throughout the space.
Cabinet Design & Structure
To maximize both storage and visual impact, we designed the upper cabinets to an impressive 44 inches in height, complemented by a second tier of 18 1/2 inches. This tiered approach allowed for ample storage while creating a grand, layered look. To break the solid expanse and introduce an element of lightness and sophistication, we incorporated custom glass inserts.
Integrated Lighting
Under-cabinet LED lighting was seamlessly recessed into the cabinetry, providing functional illumination and enhancing the kitchen's elegant ambiance, day or night.
Premium Functionality
As expected from high-end custom cabinetry, all drawers and pull-outs are crafted from solid maple with robust dovetail joinery, ensuring durability and smooth operation. The entire system is equipped with Blum hardware in all its forms – hinges, sliding mechanisms, and even an integrated trash can pull-out – for unparalleled soft-close functionality and convenience.
